STChealth is looking for a talented UX Designer to lead and evangelize the user experience design process using a human-centered design approach. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and intuitive design, possess superior usability skills and be able to translate user needs into the sequence of interactions a person has with our product over time.

Our UX Designer listens to the needs of our customers across the Public Health and private healthcare markets to create intentional, simple, and seamless experiences. All in an effort to build the right products that solve the right problems. Through alignment with the Product and Engineering teams on a problem-to-solve product approach, the UX Designer is a champion of the voice of the customer by designing features, workflows and experiences that bring value and drive outcomes.

What You Will Do
● Collaborate with product and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
● Conduct user research, persona development and evaluate user feedback.
● Analyze research findings and recommendations to deliver use cases, user journeys, user flow diagrams, navigation structures and information architecture in order to optimize the User Experience of our digital products.
● Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
● Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex requirements.
● Create interactive prototypes modeling user flows, process flows and navigation elements to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
● Present and defend designs and key product milestones to peers and executive level stakeholders.
● Evaluate designs according to project specific and enterprise standard metrics.
● Understand and design to meet WCAG 2.0 AA Accessibility Standard.
● Establish and promote a unified design language, following UI/UX best practices and standards.

About You
● You have demonstrable UI/UX design expertise with a strong portfolio, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
● End-to-end knowledge of all stages of User Experience Design (Sketching, Prototyping, Iteration, Refinement and Evaluation).
● You understand the working methods of experience design, jobs-to-be-done, needs-based research in order to build the right products that solve the right problems.
● Your experience in rapid prototyping and product discovery is solid.
● Your visual design sills are excellent, and you have great awareness of user-product interaction.
● You have a strong ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
● You thrive in a learning environment where lean startup methodology and experimentation models allow for fast learning, speed to market, and optimized experiences.
● Demonstrated knowledge of design tools and platforms (Adobe CS, Sketch, Figma, Mural, Invision etc.).
● Experience working in Scrum Agile methodology to define User Stories as part of sprint planning.
● You are known to solve problems creatively and effectively and effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines.
● You welcome contrarian views, yet remain centered on designing based on the voice of the market and customer data versus stakeholder opinion.
● It is important to you to keep up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
